|3/3 Outfits - Selina Kyle’s Catwoman gear
“Well, Selina Kyle, I know you came here from your walk-up in Old Town, a modest place for a master jewel thief. Which means that either you’re saving for retirement, or you’re in deep with the wrong people”.

******FEW SPOILERS******
Before I start. I really enjoyed Iron Man 3 I didn’t love it and it wasn’t better than the Avengers but IM3 is just good ole’ mindless fun. But were it falls short is its many plot points that don’t really get any answers to. Also many unnecessary things that happens in the movie that just makes you wonder why in the world is this even in here. THEN the biggest plot twist in the movie turns out to be the reason why this just made me very upset and I almost hated it if it weren’t for the amazing plane and action scenes.
Although this wasn’t amazing, it is a step up from Iron Man 2 (which I actually liked) but I don’t feel that either 3 or 2 have topped Iron Man 1. Iron Man 1 was a really solid and refreshing movie to watch. It all flowed and IM3 just didn’t do it for me. Some parts of the movie just made me feel so lost. What really through me was the main villian. An actor playing as the Mandarin? Really??? After the greatness of the Avengers I can’t belive that this was thrown in our face.
A few good things I did like though, were Pepper Potts finally doing something than besides making that “I’m worried” look and the action scenes specifically the plane scene. In the last 20 minutes or so, Pepper drops into this pit of fire because Tony couldn’t save her and is assumed dead, but she emerges and demolishes the Mandarin. She didn’t look to bad fighting either, much better than Anne Hathaway as catwoman who looked stiffer than a board trying to fight.
My second favorite moment was when Tony has to save 11 or 13 (i forget) people falling from the plane and he can only carry four. Just the visuals were spectacular to watch and for those 7 odd minutes or so I was finally drawn back into this world. Only to have it shattered when it comes to find out that he actually wasn’t even in the suit. But still the scene was great to watch as he made a human chain in the sky. And the humor was dead on. I think they focused to much on that than a decent story.
Overall, if your looking for something on the level of the avengers storywise, your not looking for Iron Man 3. Wait until Thor 2 comes out and we’ll see. But IM3 was sort of a let down but I felt was neccessary film to make because we needed to see how Tony Stark lives on after the Avengers. But storyline wise, it’s all over the place and never really draws me in and keeps my full attention, only 65% of it. A real winner to me though was Pepper. I’m all for female heroism so she kind of kept me mildly interested and the visual effects as well. IM3 underwelms but is a great action movie.
